Liane is a planner by background and a recognised thought leader in social sustainability. She has worked both contractor and client side to design and deliver social sustainability and responsible procurement programmes for mega urban transport projects, including Crossrail, Bank Station Capacity Upgrade and Tideway. Her work involves using planning, development, design, and procurement processes to generate social value for stakeholders.
Liane combines her personal interest in infrastructure and cities, with her professional skills in strategy, policy, engagement, and writing. Liane excels as a technical writer and supporting organisations to develop high quality reports, bids, and strategies.
Liane’s specialisms include social sustainability, responsible procurement, stakeholder engagement, and urban regeneration. She has excellent collaboration skills and is able to build strong relationships with stakeholders to enable project outcomes. She is appointed to the Mayor of London’s Infrastructure Advisory Panel, is a Crossrail International Expert Adviser, and a UK Government High Streets Task Force Expert. Liane is Senior Adviser to Infrastructure Ontario on the Transit Oriented Communities programme and Scarborough Subway Extension, Toronto.
